The Customer deals with the design and manufacture of packaging machines for FMCG Products and has three units located in Bommasandra Industrial Area, Bangalore, Karnataka. They were having more than 5 No’s of EOT Cranes of one of our competitors in their factories until then they came to know about ABCO Cranes and our vast experience in both the Supply and Service of the material handling equipment.

They were having a new requirement of EOT Crane in their upcoming new Shed. The requirement was the supply of 3Ton Capacity, 13.5M Span, 3.5M Height of Lift Single Box Girder EOT Crane and the application of EOT Crane was to load the components on the lathe machine.

After sending our offer for EOT Crane, the inspection team from the customer side made a visit at ABCO factory for the technical inspection and to know in detail about our quality, safety measures which we are adopting, our manufacturing procedures, our existing projects which are on the process at our site and also to have a technical discussion regarding the 3Ton Capacity EOT Crane. We were also able to explain the technical differences and benefits that come in buying ABCO crane compared to the existing EOT Cranes the customer is having at their factory.

After the discussion at ABCO factory, we accompanied the inspection team to have a site visit to three of our Customer places located in Bangalore, where we have supplied EOT Cranes earlier. After the inspection team has done discussing with our existing customers regarding our quality of crane and the service which we provide till date, the inspection team was satisfied and the following day, we visited the customer site to discuss the commercial terms. Even though they were so many other competitors from Bangalore to grab the order and our offer was not the lowest one, we were able to bag this order since they were very satisfied by our professional approach in dealing with the clients and the way we serve our customers by providing quality products and service.

The EOT Crane was successfully delivered within 8 to 10 weeks to the customer. In spite of having a 1-month delay because of the Covid Lockdown in Bangalore, we managed to deliver and install the EOT Crane at the committed date. The customer also asked for some additional requirements in the EOT Crane and we were able to fulfill the customer requests in no time and at no extra charges.

After the installation of EOT Crane, the load test of EOT Crane was done in the presence of the Customer and the Competent Engineer. We were able to solve all the technical queries the inspection team from the customer side was having and the load test was done successfully at 100% Load and 125% Load. The project completion certificates along with the competent engineer-approved certificate were handed over to the customer on the very next day.

The customer was very satisfied with both the quality and the performance of our crane and the project was completed successfully in August 2021 and we surely look forward to having a fruitful business relationship in the future.
